Does the iPhone 11 Support eSIM? (2026 Guide)

You know that Apple launches a series of new models every year, like the iPhone 11 series. But with the launch of the iPhone 11 series, there is a notable feature that people notice, which is the support of eSIM technology. The series announced the dual SIM functionality, allowing users to utilize eSIM with a physical SIM card.

In this guide, I am going to tell you about insights into compatibility, activation, and benefits, and everything that tells you if iPhone 11 supports eSIM. Let’s get started!

What is eSIM?

An eSIM, or embedded SIM, is a built-in feature of a smartphone that allows the user to add a digital SIM card plan without swapping the SIM card. Thus, you don’t need a physical SIM card when you have an eSIM-compatible device.

An interesting thing about eSIM technology is that by the year 2026, 90% of smartphones will support eSIM technology.

Does the iPhone 11 support eSIM? The answer is Yes; the whole series supports eSIM technology. It's a dual SIM functionality phone series that allows you to use one eSIM and one physical nano-SIM card. But it's good to know about the regional variations:
